How to Test

Bayer’s CONTOUR® USB meter features simple, smooth testing with Bayer’s CONTOUR® test strips and the MICROLET®2 lancing device.

BEFORE YOU TEST, have these and other testing materials ready. You may also need Bayer’s CONTOUR® control solution to run a quality control check. Then you’ll be ready to test.

1. Wash Hands
  • Wash your hands and "puncture site" thoroughly with warm soapy water and dry them well before testing.
  • Drop your arm to your side and shake it gently to get the blood flowing to your fingertips.
